My cultivation rank was now up to three and my mana had shot up to C rank. My mana had gone up from an F to a C, and if I understood correctly that meant my abilities and spells would be stronger.

A curious thought crossed my mind, and I opened my main ring, then pulled out the [ROCK GOLEM] summon scroll out, pulled up my creation menu, and hit [NEW].

Time seemed to grind to a halt as I stared at the rock golem. It looked eerily similar to Pyro in form, with tree-trunk-like legs, and clawed feet. The legs took up about sixty percent of its total height, from which a rather slender torso extended, slender in comparison to the arms in any case. The chest was twice as large as the stomach, but the shoulders were the real shocker. It was built like a bodybuilder with wide and thick shoulders but had spikes extending from the back. The head sat in a hollow at the front and not the top, where the neck should be. Massive, oversized arms hung from just as a comically thin elbow joint. Its fists were as huge, easily twice the size of its feet. It reminded me of Hellboy in more ways than one, only about five times larger.

I had a feeling it wouldn’t be much of a magic caster, but it could prove to be a magnificent brawler. And to become that, the first step was to give it a real name. But first I hit the [CREATE] button.

The golem came alive in my mind and automatically saved as a template. My soul sea was diminished once the process finished, but it didn’t hurt this time around. Okay, that was an improvement.

I thought for a moment about a perfect name, mulling over gods and deities and…titans. The golem shone like a bronze statue, and I only knew of one bronze titan who fought with his bare hands. Talos.
